Our 61^st season began Sunday October 5, with the appearance of a talented young musician Denise Djokic. The new season exlpores a wide range of themes and compositions spanning many centuries, countries and styles. On the classical side we mix cornerstones of the repertoire such as Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto, Sibelius’ Violin Concerto, and a number of neglected treasures like Kalinnikov’s highly romantic First Symphony.

POPS will feature a major artist from the L.A. musical scene in February; we will also drop by Boston (A Tribute to Arthur Fiedler); and England with a musical story based on Dicken’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL with India as the final stop where THE JUNGLE BOOK will come to life.
