Violin

Bill Chambers is the operations manager of the Niagara Symphony as well as a long time member of the violin section.   In keeping with his name, he also loves to play chamber music and is a member of the string quartet Quattro Music.  During this time he has also served stints as concertmaster of the North York Concert Orchestra, the Brampton Symphony and the Oakville Chamber Orchestra.    He studied violin with Hilda Kirton, Gwen Thompson and Leo Wigdorchik.   In addition to his musical training, Bill holds two degrees in pure mathematics.   Bill has also served as a director of the Mississauga Arts Council and is presently past president of the Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute. He lives in Mississauga where he and his wife, Anna, are proud of their three children.
