Sarah Cardwell currently serves as principal oboist with the Stratford Civic Orchestra. She appeared in recital on St. Andrew's Noon Hour Series in Kitchener in 2007 and 2008. As principal oboist with the Kamloops Symphony from 2001-2005, Sarah performed as a soloist in works by Vaughn Williams, Copeland, and Vivaldi. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, her principal teachers were Beth Orson, Roger Cole, Richard Killmer, and Cheryl Bishkoff. Sarah was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and also studied at the Banff Center for the Arts, Bowdoin International Music Festival,  Domaine Forget, and Wilfred Laurier's Windfest.  As a freelance musician, she has performed with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Elora Festival Singers, Gerald Fagan Singers, Peterborough Symphony, and the Oshawa Symphony.
