Many of the symphony musicians perform beyond the Niagara Symphony. Not only do they teach and perform in small ensembles, they also contribute their talent to many other special events. DAVID BRAUN
Niagara Symphony Second Violin
Mr. Braun was recently appointed Artistic Director of Choralis Camerata, a Niagara-based choir dedicated to performing the great choral repertoire of classical music, historical, contemporary treasures as well as new works and show tunes.  Mr. Braun will conduct the choir in the upcoming concerts Follow the Gospel Train on February 19th and the Spring Gala on May 27th and has begun planning their 2012-13 season.  Congratulations to one of our own!

Niagara Symphony Associate Conductor/Principal Percussion
Laura Thomas recently won the position of  Music Director of the Dundas Valley Orchestra.  This community orchestra performs several concerts annually in the Dundas and Hamilton area and offers members a chance to make music and improve their skills.  Ms Thomas will conduct all the orchestra’s public performances and is actively involved in  future planning and development.  Congratulations to our long-time NSO member, Laura Thomas.
